A subsidiary of the Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı, HEAŞ (Havaalanı İşletme ve Havacılık Endüstrileri A.Ş.) has been operating for 26 years as the aerodrome authority of İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Uluslararası Havalimanı, Europe’s fastest-growing and Türkiye’s second-largest airport.
In addition to its regulatory and supervisory responsibilities as an airport authority, HEAŞ manages runway/apron/taxiway (PAT) areas, aeronautical information management, aircraft rescue and firefighting, first aid and health services, continuous operation of navigation systems, airport-wide utilities (electricity, water, natural gas, heating and cooling), aviation IT operations, VIP services, and airside access control and security.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Ramp Tower Assistant Specialist to support safe, orderly, and efficient flight operations within HEAŞ, the aerodrome authority of Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
What You Will Do
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of arrival and departure flight information within the HEAŞ Flight Planning and Tracking System (HUPS) using relevant operational sources,
- Coordinate and monitor seasonal and daily flight schedule data with relevant units and organizations within the HUPS framework,
- Analyze and integrate operational data such as flight plans, ATS messages (CHG, CNL, DLA, DEP, ARR), EUROCONTROL information (e.g., CTOT), and AFTN communications into the system,
- Optimize aircraft stand allocation planning considering aircraft type/specifications, bridge usage, traffic density, and operational constraints,
- Reconfigure stand planning during swap, cancellation, delay, diversion, emergency, or special operations, ensuring coordination with stakeholders,
- Prepare and distribute daily operational flight schedules,
- Maintain coordination with relevant departments to ensure operational safety, continuity, and efficiency.
What We Expect From You
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or Engineering,
- Good command of English; preferably a YDS score at level C or an equivalent certification recognized by ÖSYM,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
- Strong attention to detail, responsibility, concentration, and problem-solving skills,
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment,
- Willingness to work shifts,
- Completed military service (for male candidates),
- Residence on — or ability to relocate to — Istanbul’s Anatolian side.
