Sea transportation of Istanbul is provided
by the TDI Urban Lines Operations to a great extent. Istanbul
Sea Buses Industry and Trade Inc. Co., with the acronym of
IDO, has been founded by the Municipality of Greater Istanbul
to contribute sea transportation and the solution of the traffic
problem in 1987.
