Aircraft Special Security
Aircraft Special Security Services are
provided in line with the requests of the airlines organizing
scheduled or non-scheduled flights to the Sabiha Gokcen
International Airport.

Passenger and Luggage Security
Following the grievous terrorist attack occurring
in America, the security measures in airports and airplanes
have attracted all the attention.
We recommend that the following issues be
taken into consideration for your safety with priority and
all against threats of security risks:
- Make sure that you
prepare your luggage personally or accompany its preparation.
- Check all packages, packing and boxes when
preparing your luggage.
- Do not accept any luggage for delivery
to others.
- If the airlines that you are flying
with shall require, you shall be subjected to questions
regarding security prior to check-in. Correct and clear
answers to the questions directed by the Airport's Aircraft
Special Security personnel shall constitute the most significant
element in terms of ensuring your safety and the flight
safety as a whole.
Luggage Security Processes
Your luggage shall be taken into
the luggage classification site following the check-in and
controlled with X-ray devices. The luggage determined suspicious
in the initial control shall be examined with a second X-ray
device, and the luggage shall be subjected to physical control
under the supervision of the airlines authority and the owner
of the luggage.
Aircraft Special Security Personnel shall
accompany the transfer of the luggage from the luggage gathering
area to the airplane. Said accompaniment shall be continued
until all luggage are loaded on to the airplane.

Cargo and Mail Security Processes
- In the event of request by the airlines,
special security measures are taken for cargo and mail prior
to loading on to the airplane. These measure include mainly
the physical control of the security personnel prior to
handling of valuable items and monitoring via security cameras.
- The cargo shall be accompanied during
the transfer of the mail and cargo to the airplane and transfer
of the arriving item to the antrepot. Loads which have not
passed X-ray control and which do not have a security control
tag shall not be taken into the airplane.
Aircraft Catering Security
- All catering to be provided to the passengers
in the airplane, must be controlled prior to its transfer
to the airplane.
- The vehicle delivering the catering
to the airplane shall be subjected to physical prior to
loading. Monitoring shall be realized during the loading
and catering without seal shall not be accepted in to the
airplane.
Aircraft Search and Protection
- The aircraft search process shall be realized
by specially trained personnel pursuant to the International
and National Civil Aviation rules.
- In the event of request by the airlines,
extra security measures shall be taken at the park position
of the airplane.
- Everyone entering the airplane including
airport personnel shall be subjected to security search
and identification control.
