ABOUT US

The most important condition for Company, which is responsible for the operation of Sabiha Gökçen Airport, to perform this critical and important task quickly and safely within the standards that were determined by National and International Civil Aviation Organizations is, without doubt, well-educated and trained manpower.

Aviation sector is growing at a great pace and training qualified human resources, which is one of the most basic needs of this growing sector, is possible with effective training policies which has high quality standards that are recognized in international arena. 

In this context, we, as “HEAŞ Aviation Academy”, aim to provide theoretical and practical training services, particularly to our own personnel, and to our other partners in Civil Aviation Sector and also to people, institutions and organizations with wishes that can be fulfilled, with qualified trainers and training programs, to became a modern, effective and internationally-preferred “Training Institution” which trains personnel for the sector and its institution. 

We continue our investments in order to pass 20 years of background and experience of our Institution as an Airport Operator, which is the first and only institution in the sector which has “MoNE License”, onto all of our partners, and to minimize the training need in the sector by making training designs according to the needs alongside the Aviation Trainings.

To correctly determine the needs of our internal and foreign customers in line with national and international developments in the Aviation sector which is developing and growing rapidly; to offer training solutions which create value and difference and will most effective knowledge acquisition by benefiting from all the advantages of training resources and technologies with the quality training staff that we have.

OUR TRAINING POLICY
The provision of safety, trustworthiness and high quality factors in aviation sector is directly proportional with the training of the personnel working in this area.

Today, the international rules in aviation, adherence to these rules, the diversity of production, rapid technological advancements and the fact that aviation trainings are not included enough in other training institutions and/or don’t match up with each other made the “in-house training aviation” concept a necessity. In civil aviation sector, there is training requirements at every level and employee profiles which are defined to those requirements. Therefore; other than the occupational or branch trainings which are given to the employees in the educational institutions that they graduated from, the trainings which have to be given after they join to an aviation company, have to be certified, followed-up and renewed are obligatorily defined by authorities. The persons who don’t possess these competences cannot work in the sector. Our purpose is, firstly to share the big picture in the aviation sector with our internal and foreign customers, and to clearly explain role and responsibilities of the institution that the participant represents and the participant him/herself in this picture, and at the same time, ensure that an informed aviation sector employee starts working by blending all those information with the high quality standards and team culture of aviation.
