Our Areas of Operation

Within the scope of our areas of operation, we provide services in airside and landside operations, including ramp tower and apron services, firefighting, passenger health services, and our power generation facilities, where we produce our own electricity. With our technology-driven, human-centered, and sustainability-oriented approach, we shape the future by delivering innovative solutions across all areas.

Safety management activities are carried out to identify and mitigate risks related to aviation safety at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Safety-related incidents occurring in operational processes are monitored and analyzed, and the coordination of necessary corrective actions is ensured.

Snow and ice control activities on the airside are conducted in accordance with relevant plans and procedures. Necessary interventions are coordinated to ensure the operational continuity of runways, taxiways, and apron areas.

Wildlife activities that may affect flight safety within and around the airport are monitored and assessed. Preventive measures are planned and implemented to mitigate potential risks.

First aid services are provided to passengers and staff in case of aircraft accidents, emergencies, or incidents occurring on-site. Medical response is ensured for occupational and traffic accidents within the airport premises.

Data related to aviation activities is collected, validated, and accurately delivered to relevant stakeholders. Aeronautical information supporting the safe conduct of flight operations is effectively managed.

Navigation aid systems and related electronic infrastructure are operated to support air traffic operations. Maintenance, monitoring, and coordination activities are carried out to ensure system continuity.

The knowledge and experience gained from 26 years of operational expertise at Sabiha Gökçen Airport are shared through training activities. Within the scope of HEAŞ Academy, training programs aim to enhance employee competencies and contribute qualified human resources to the aviation sector.

All flight-related information for arrivals and departures is accurately and timely processed into operational systems, and aircraft stand planning is conducted. Daily flight schedules and any changes are monitored, and coordination with relevant operational units is maintained.

The coordination and supervision of operations carried out by organizations operating on the airside are ensured. FOD (Foreign Object Debris) inspections and field markings are performed to maintain safety on runways, aprons, and taxiways.

Response capability is maintained at all times for potential aircraft accidents, fires, and emergencies. Operational activities related to firefighting, rescue, and incident site safety are carried out.

Construction, maintenance, and repair activities related to infrastructure and superstructure facilities within the airport are planned and executed. Necessary technical works are carried out to ensure the operational continuity of critical areas such as runways, taxiways, and aprons.

Processes are monitored and evaluated to ensure that airport activities are carried out in accordance with quality standards and the Safety Management System (SMS). Quality and safety performance of operational activities are tracked, and necessary reporting and improvement actions are implemented.

The uninterrupted operation of electrical infrastructure and lighting systems across the airport is ensured. Rapid response is provided to failures in critical systems, particularly runway and approach lighting.

Leasing and concession processes related to commercial activities at Sabiha Gökçen Airport are planned and managed. The implementation and coordination of agreements with businesses operating within the airport premises are ensured.
