HEAS Health Directorate is founded to provide services in
the event of airplane accidents and crashes occurring at our
Airport and the close environs, and to fulfill the emergency
ambulance service demands of the passengers and personnel
in our Airport.
Health Section established at the Fire Brigade Building serves
24 hours a day with its examination room, equipped with advanced
level technological devices in the field emergency medicine,
observation room with two beds, laboratory in which urgent
analyses are provided, and two ambulances equipped as reanimobile.
Personnel of the Health Section have been trained to provide
service within the framework of the current emergency plan
in the event of occurrence of aircraft accidents and crashes
at or near our Airport. All HEAS personnel is trained in first
aid by the Health Section and said training is planned to
be continued in a periodical and updated manner. Moreover,
the first aid training shall be developed so as to cover the
whole personnel of the Airport.
 HEAS
Workplace Physician, providing health services to all HEAS
personnel is also available within the body of our Health
Directorate.
